Social System Theory Vs Social Systems Theory

Theory of Community SCC and the community Pittsburg are similar to the Social Systems Theory. The Social Systems Theory emphasizes how the various social subsystems within the community interact with each other. This theory mentions the inputs and the outputs of the community (Kirst-Ashman, 2014). SCC and other agencies work together in the community to provide resources to help the citizens of the community. The outputs are to empower their clients to become productive citizens of the community. By working together, the resources are there to meet the needs of the citizens in the community. Pittsburg is growing because of the ability to help its citizens, and it is working to keep up with problems of employment, housing, and crime. SCC and the community are helping these individuals by building a new Safehouse shelter that will house 50 people. There will be an area set aside to house men. A transitional house area for those who have been there longer than 60 days, and still have not found housing (Vicky, 2016).

provides empowerment to its employees. First, it trust its employees to be confidential and allows them to work at their own discretion. It believes the advocates can and will do their job. The agency listens to the advocates ideas and allows them to be creative when it comes to clients. The advocates have training in the areas of victimization, and SCC trust them to work to empower each client. This allows employees to grow as advocates.
