Every country government system is not set up in the same way. In certain countries, the government system is set up in a way where the people don’t have a saying and the government has complete authority over the people. In America however, these rights are guaranteed to us. If we the people feel that we don’t like how the government system is managing a certain situation, then we are allowed to disagree with them and with that comes freedom of expression. An example of this could be when the United States was ruled by Great Britain. During that time since the United States was ruled by Great Britain, the colonists could not rebel against the rules that Great Britain had for them. They were expected to listen and follow through as it is, but now with changes made, this is no longer the case. …show more content…
Stationing Soldiers (1791). This amendment is important because it protects the privacy of our homes. It protects our freedom by preventing soldiers from accessing our homes and give the rights for people to say no if they don’t feel comfortable with a soldier coming into their home. During the time before the American Revolution, England would force upon their soldiers into the homes of the colonists. The soldiers would sit and eat all of their food, leaving the colonists with almost nothing. Being that this was the case, there was also nothing that the colonists could have done about this, but with this amendment being placed, it prohibits soldiers from doing such thing and protect the life of the people who are living
