Sonny's Role In Overcoming Obstacles

Amy in response to the first obstacle regarding supplies I think Sonny and his friends were resourceful in finding ways to fund their rocket projects. It was also awesome how the community stepped up to help the boys out. Let’s face it rocket building can be dangerous especially for a group of high school students. The dream Sonny had with the help of the community shows dreams can come true.
I also agree with you stating Sonny’s father was an obstacle. Sonny father was adamant Sonny work in the mines and follow his footsteps.
