Sons Of Liberty Analysis

It pretty much depends on what side you are. I would not blame them if they were the freedom fighters and fought and stand for freedom of their country, or they were protecting their right, which somewhat they were. Theoretically, they were both terrorists and patriots, but a British citizen would more likely emphasize at the terrorist side of it.
Besides, looking back at the British empire during the age of Discovery and British colonization. If a British citizen thinks that the Sons of Liberty were terrorist for fighting against an unfair situation, then they may as well think people such as Indians, who fought for their independents, were also terrorist. Then again, let us take a look at other terrorist groups and their ideologies. They commit acts of terror with different ideologies. Accordingly, Sons of Liberty could be categorized as patriots, who used a tactic of terror.
Also, the professor mentioned in one of his videos that a small group can have a dramatic impact. Likewise, this small group had frightened some of the noncombatant American because the consequence of their action could have resulted in a cruel war and life of many innocent people.
