Speech to Persuade, Seafood
Seafood is one of the most incredible food sources on the planet. The reason being is the health benefits, the abundance of it, and all of the different cooking styles. Depending on how you cook it, seafood can be incredibly healthy or unhealthy. Hundreds upon thousands of fish live in the sea, most of them we haven’t even discovered. For each one of these fish there are, we can think of a plethora of ways to cook it.

According to studies done by the government and several health organizations; the overall benefits of eating at least two seafood meals a week outweighs the risks. A very unique fat that is found in most seafood are the omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. There is also a study going on that suggests these acids may help in the prevention of common diseases. These include various colds and regularly out breaking sicknesses.

It has also been shown that there are over 30,000 types of fish in the world. With such a large varying quantities of a food source, it makes it one that is almost limitless. People tend to underestimate how much food is out there. If we could take all of our fish and eat nothing but fish, we would have enough recipes to feed us for months.

We have all heard and probably eaten at a restaurant that serves fried fish and hush puppies. This as it may be incredibly common is a very simple and incredibly unhealthy for you. Try having your fish broiled or sautéed with very minimal butter and you will get a large amount of protein plus vitamins and minerals. Seafood has a very good tendency to withhold so many different pressures from different styles of cooking. Another good thing about cooking with seafood is that it doesn’t take very much to take it from being a plain boring dish into a work of art.

If you have not been able to guess, I am trying to get you to think about eating more seafood. It is good for you, there are so many different types of fish to try, and for those who love cooking it is incredibly fun to work
