The Opus College of Business
The Opus College of Business school offers three degrees including Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Real Estate, and a minor in Business. The BA degree in Business Administration has seven majors and twelve concentrations. The concentrations has a diverse range of business related topics such as Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership and Management, and Human Resources. The BS degree in Real Estate provides students with a background in general business and real estate theory and practice. “The Management Institute was developed by Roanoke College to meet the management training needs specific to the Roanoke Valley as identified by local business leaders.” This institute sponsors the management program offered within the Business and Economics Department, and its curriculum is continually reviewed to ensure its students are best prepared for management positions. Within the program curriculum students are required to work in management teams each semester. Innovation Challenge
Each summer, 16 students from Roanoke College and other academic institutions are offered the chance to pair with a local business and create a comprehensive business plan for a new product innovation. The 16 students are divided into teams to produce the innovation with the help of mentors and faculty. In addition to the business experience this provides for the students, the program has often led to payments, internships, networking, and even the ownership of a new product.

The school offers the program to all business students and transfers toward academic credit. They believe that through this program, students are able to “narrow the focus of their career plans” and develop the criteria needed for positions after graduation.
Student Organizations
There are many impressive student organizations at Susquehanna University. There is an accounting club, a human resource management club, and investment club, and a marketing club. This allows for students to better understand a specific concentration of business. They also offer Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), which is an international nonprofit organization. Within teams, members of SIFE perform economic-based community service projects, make a multimedia presentation and then present their work at regional competitions.
Honor Societies
There are two honor societies under the School of Business: Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon. This is unique because the two programs are tailored to different academic concentrations. Beta Gamma Sigma is for the school of business and management, and Omicron Delta Epsilon is for
