1.what is this topic all about and its significance
Steins; Gate is a fictional story about time travel and the consequences of it's misuse The story of Steins;Gate takes place in Akihabara and is about a group of friends who have managed to customize their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them. MORAL ISSUES RELATED TO TIME TRAVEL
Time travel and moral dilemmas are a common pairing in science fiction because they can take things so seriously or dramatically. One of the difficulties with exploring repercussions of moral codes is that they always seem "correct" within a narrow scope within which they were created. However, it is much harder to determine if they are right in a wider scope without stimulating it.
So with this there rise many moral issues in this fanatic time travel series and these issues are general moral issues related to time travel which you can find in many other book and movies like: Time Machine by H.G. Wells and other movies like: Predestination, The Minority report, Back to the future and many more.

Killing a serial killer when he was a child will be totally immoral because by changing past threads of time, entire future turns there are many references of these incidents in steins;gate like how the protagonist tried to bring back his friend’s father back to life but because of that the whole city changed into a different city this is one of a dangerous aspect of time travel.

Many people argue that time travel can led the society towards a greater good and they try to keep their point that a positive change in past can never degrade the society and can never change the greater good of humanity
