Most of them are nothing but false accusation in other words and labels people made on these students based on their observations. It is honestly pathetic that people actually take the time to label these college students without taking the time to realize about the things they have been through. It is sad to see the way society is with other people and they think it is okay but it really isn’t. Some college students do not care what others have to say about them because they already know they are better than those people. On the other hand, some students actually have feelings and get hurt when others have bad things to say about them because they are not sure how to express themselves and are afraid to defend themselves. College students have so many stereotypes and misconceptions because there are a few that like to slack off in college. Stereotypes and misconceptions play a big role on college students and most people are not aware of it because they just observe from what they seem like. People have awfully labeled college students based off the way they look at them and people should inform themselves first about these types of students instead of labeling them. College students already know how and who they really are, they know they aren’t the way people and their community see them as, but they also need to be recognized to prove the world how wrong everyone else is. These individuals are absolutely nothing like the way the public has perceived them as, other people always have something bad to say to put others down. Students in college aren’t party animals, jocks, nerds, lazy, nor fat just because they’re just beginning college and take their studies seriously. The students that go to college are hard working, dedicated, and extremely successful, they also go to work to pay all their expenses and are very responsible in doing so as well. All college students need and should be better understood because they are the future of this community, they're the ones that are going to be there for others depending on the career they’re choosing, people should get to know them better rather than talking down on
