Ages. More than anything the roles that we all play in society has changed dramatically. In the movie A Knight's Tale it depicts life in the Middle Ages but is not that accurate in some ways but is accurate in others. The Black Prince in the movie is loved by everyone and holds the very highest respect no one would go against him or disrespect him just like it would have been in the

Middle Ages. This is more from the twenty first Century. The women’s roles in this movie were very flawed in the Middle Ages when were were not very outspoken. They were looked at as a minority, not like they are looked at know. Jocelyn was a very outspoken person in the movie and she stood out in public. In the Middle Ages it was very difficult for women to stand on their own and speak their mind this really never happened.
If it were to have happened in the Middle Ages She would have been looked down upon and probably would have been punished. Women were oppressed during this period and were expected to be quiet, especially in public. The things they wore were not in compliance of the things women in the Middle Ages wore.
