Introduction
I chose these subtopics because I wanted to see the difference between women jobs, men jobs, and children jobs. In the following pages I will say some of the jobs that some those people had. I wanted to do jobs because it has been brought to my attention that people haven't been focusing on jobs that much so I decided to write about their jobs.
Women Jobs
Women had a lot of different jobs. Most of their jobs were in the homes. Some of their jobs were preparing the meals, mending clothes, making baskets, laundry, Preserving food for the winter, tending the livestock, making candles, also they were working in the garden.Sometimes they even taught the kids how to do some of their jobs. When women were working in the city they did seamstresses, innkeepers, midwives, and nurses. I think the jobs that women had in the country then from the city are different because they could have had more work in the city because it's more likely for them to make food for the whole city, but if they were in the country they wouldn't have to do that (I think). Here are 2 of them, I will explain what they are .A colonial apothecary practiced as doctor. apothecaries show that they made house calls to treat patients, made and prescribed medicines, and trained apprentices. Blacksmiths were a merchant and a craftsman. He made items such as horseshoes, pots, pans, and nails. They also made axes, plowshares, cowbells, and hoes. The men jobs was a lot different from the women jobs because Women had to do stuff that was safe and men had to do stuff that could not be safe. Like if the men had to handle with fire and Sharp needles, But women also had to deal with sharp needles when they are knitting. So in that case they do the same amount of jobs and mostly everything.
