Gender Stereotyping
Men and woman for centuries, have been fighting against gender stereotypes that niche them into being a particular type of person. Society has even seen men and, woman as having certain personality traits unlike. In a whole, men and women are very parallel both in their brains and in their capabilities. The traits of stereotypes are often true. The common stereotypes for men are been more aggressive than woman, this may be due to part of the brain which modulates aggression. A man part of the brain in the aggression area is smaller in men than it is in women. I believe this to be a stereotype for men, woman are capable of anger and, aggression in the same forms as men. Men are stereotyped with not having as much emotions as woman. I find this to be an untruth men are just as prone to sadness as woman. Men are just as likely to experience depression and, burn out from jobs and, daily life. Men are also stereotyped as been masculine, this is very untrue, and there are several men that are non-masculine. There are men whom have the same strength and abilities as a woman. Stereotypes of Woman In today’s society a person masculine and feminine traits can be foreseen in many different ways. Masculinity and femininity come from first how one views themselves. In the social world both male and female are consider (gender) however woman will refer to themselves as feminine and men as masculine, these are social detentions in the world.
