Expository

There are a lot reasons you should use a dictionary an a thesaurus. My first reason is it will help with your spelling.My second reason is it will help you know how to use the words and the meaning of the words in your paper. My third reason is it would help you add more word then to to use the same word over again and add a better fell to the story.

There is still a lot more information about the help of a dictionary and thesaurus. like it tells you different ways to use the words and more words for those words. both the dictionary and thesaurus help because they have guide lines for the word you want to define or find the word you are looking for. Those are the main reason in you next paper you should

    In this passage, Larson officially introduces the character of H. H. Holmes as he roams around a Chicago train station. Larson’s purpose in this passage is to characterize H. H. Holmes’s persona as well as his tendencies around women in order to foreshadow his behaviors later in the book. According to Larson, Holmes possessed a sense of confidence that- in addition to his good looks- naturally attracted many women. He had, “dark hair and striking blue eyes,” and with his confidence as well as his sense of fashion, Holmes often created the impression, “of wealth and achievement.” Larson then employs a metaphor, connecting great murderers to having, “blue eyes,”- alluding that since Holmes has “striking blue eyes,” he is possibly a great murderer; he also uses a metaphor to compare Holmes’s eyes to those of a “Mesmerist,” connotating that he possesses a powerful sense of control over people- particularly over women.…

    As you can imagine, immigration has changed drastically from 1920 to present day. The question is, has it improved? In 1920, Seymour Rechtzeit’s family decided to immigrate to the United States. Seymour had been a child prodigy since he was 4. Once he turned 8 his family decided to move to the United States, therefore Seymour had more opportunities to fulfill his dream. World War 1 also played a part in the decision making, Europe was going through tough times. Once arriving to Ellis Island Seymour’s father waited in a terribly long line as part of the entry process. Seymour was diagnosed with a common cold and was informed he would be detained at Ellis Island for a couple of days until he got better.
