have made an impact to the world. Each company starts out slow and ascends into a well-known industry. Although they are imposing, each manufacture starts out with a person planning what it will contain. Carson states that the Apple company started around the time era of the 1970’s (Carson). The honor goes out to the revolutionary man Steve Jobs for he made Apple a worldwide company who has brought many successes not only to the United States, but to other nations as well. As mentioned before, when a company wants to exceed in their production, they first have to start with something miniature. Steve Jobs made his first success in the company with Steve Wozniak and his first invention of the Apple computer. “In 1976, Steve Jobs convinced Steve Wozniak to form Apple Computer with him. Woz was reluctant, but Jobs convinced him to start up the business by saying something along the lines of “At least we can say we had our own business”. They went on to create the Apple II in 1977, the first complete personal computer” (Carson). This first invention is what started the Apple company. Steve Jobs soon then started to complete other products as the years grew. Not only has this invention been used in America, but it has also been sold in other nations. This invention was outraged and is the beginning of what has made Jobs a revolutionary man. Another thing that has made the Apple company a triumph is the population of Apple buyers. The amount of apple products bought is immense, it grows over a short period of time. “Industry leader IBM had spurned the niche, but Apple II sales exploded, and by 1981 Apple had become a $300 million corporation, ranking as the fastest-growing company in U.S. history. The Macintosh, introduced in January 1984, sold 72,000 units in one hundred days” (Bargeron, Tidd). The population of people shopping at Apple started out in the beginning when the Apple II was invented. Throughout the years the population is being increased due to Apple being recognized in other places and its work quality. Both the invention and population of people has made the Apple company a success. This also has occurred, thanks to the revolutionary man Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs is a revolutionary man who has made his products useful to mankind. He not only came up with one specific electronic, but he evolved from his ideas and contrived with other electronics and has overtaken other revolutionary companies. Per instance as the years grew, Steve Jobs invention of other electronics came to existence. “Jobs set about revamping Apple’s product line, reorienting the company with his design aesthetics and acute sense of customer expectations, and soon the momentum had returned. The iMac was released in 1998… Dust from the dot-com stock crash was still settling as Apple engineers began work on the IPod mobile digital audio player…Shortly after the IPods release, Jobs turned his attention to developing a similarly novel mobile phone that could combine the functions of phones, handhelds, and music players. The first iPhone was released in 2007” (Bargeron, Tidd). What has made Jobs an exceptional man is that he never stopped. He had something in mind that made him a motive man into inventing these life changing electronics. The world today thanks him for it. Not only has Jobs came up with many inventions but as Jobs invented these electronics he came to overtaking the Microsoft Corp. “… it was also poised to overtake Microsoft Corp. as the biggest technology company as measured by market capitalization” (Bargeron, Tidd). overtaking the Microsoft Corp. is an immense deal. This industry is utilized and familiarized by numerous amounts of teachers, businesses, and students. There is nothing that this intelligent man, Steve Jobs cannot do. All of the new devices and the Microsoft Corp. ties up to a few of many reasons to why Steve Jobs is a revolutionary man.
Just how Steve Jobs has made the world a better place through his devices, he has made it even better by changing the music industry for Apple product owners.
The way Steve Jobs has advanced music in a great manner is through his invention of the IPod. “In 2001, Steve introduced the iPod, which revolutionized the way we listen to music on the go” (Carson). People no longer have to carry CD’s when they’re traveling. They can have many genres of music in just one device. It makes it convenient and easier for most people. Another application that has advanced music for one is the iTunes store. During 2003, an app called iTunes that applies to Apple devices was uploaded. It is used to download music of any type of genre. It requires a small amount fee that is paid monthly. “The launch in 2003of Apple’s iTunes Store made singles available for iPod download at a cost of 99 cents, tapping into music sales at the expense of established distributors like Sony. From 2003 sales of digital music soared from less than 1 percent of all music sales to 15 percent in 2007; album sales fell 38 percent in the same time frame” (Bargeron, Tidd). Ever since this application came to existence it has changed the way the nation listens to music. People no longer have to keep changing CD’s when they want to change the genre of the song they are listening to. They just have to click one button. Music is important to a big portion of the world. Knowing that it can be taken any place one goes to is a life changing
experience.
