When talking about electronics, what is one specific device that has changed your daily life? That is based on one’s opinion. Meanwhile thinking of this question. One of many revolutionary men that has had an impact on electronic devices is Steve Jobs. Brashares states that Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955. He was adopted as a small baby by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California. Jobs grew in a ranch-style house with his parents and younger sister, Patricia (Brashares). It takes one man to make a considerable difference in the world, for one may not know the talent that stands within. Steve Jobs has made the Apple Company a success through his innovative products for every man.

The way Steve Jobs has advanced music in a great manner is through his invention of the IPod. “In 2001, Steve introduced the iPod, which revolutionized the way we listen to music on the go” (Carson). People no longer have to carry CD’s when they’re traveling. They can have many genres of music in just one device. It makes it convenient and easier for most people. Another application that has advanced music for one is the iTunes store. During 2003, an app called iTunes that applies to Apple devices was uploaded. It is used to download music of any type of genre. It requires a small amount fee that is paid monthly. “The launch in 2003of Apple’s iTunes Store made singles available for iPod download at a cost of 99 cents, tapping into music sales at the expense of established distributors like Sony. From 2003 sales of digital music soared from less than 1 percent of all music sales to 15 percent in 2007; album sales fell 38 percent in the same time frame” (Bargeron, Tidd). Ever since this application came to existence it has changed the way the nation listens to music. People no longer have to keep changing CD’s when they want to change the genre of the song they are listening to. They just have to click one button. Music is important to a big portion of the world.
