Abstract
Steve Jobs was a great figure in our society. He was never afraid of taking a chance which brought us the mass marketing of the mouse in the personal computer, to his investment in his short lived company NeXT or the world famous Pixar. He was always looking to rethink what was out on the market. He was also one of the most successful people today and a very well known name though out the business world.
Until the recent years before his death, Steve Jobs had been a little known genius behind Apple Inc. that would soon surpass Exon Mobile as the worlds most valuable company (Business, 2011). His early years would take him time to get in order, but soon after he would fall into success. The path that he traveled through his life only shows that he is an amazing entrepreneur. His legacy is one that has made an impact on the business world even after his death on October 24, 2011(Goldberg, 2011). From making computers to investing in new companies, he was someone who would take chances, rethink what could be produced and sold, and how that can translated into success.
Take A Chance
Steve jobs had always been a person who was not afraid to go out on a limb for the opportunity of success. The first major instance of this was when he decided to sell his Volkswagen Bus for $1500 to fund a company, Apple, that he wanted to start with his high school friend, Steve Wozniak (Isaacson, 2011). This was just the start of what was to come. When Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were looking for a new way to operate there computers they ran across Xerox who had created something called the GUI (Graphical User Interface), or the basic functions that would include the mouse.
