How Did Steve Jobs Change Society
The United States has had many great inventors such as Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. But neither one of them quite changed the community the way Steve Jobs did. Steve Jobs took on a project in the ugly world of technology and made it great again. Steve Jobs was not just a mere manufacturer, he was a revolutionizing inventor who brightened the lives of ordinary people with his inventions.

Steve's Background
Steve Jobs lived from 1955 to 2011. He was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs and grew up in Mountain View, California. His Dad and neighbor taught him how to assemble and disassemble electronics such as computers. He met Steve Wozniak, his future partner in Apple, while at Homestead High School. He dropped out of college after 6 months and started Apple computer with Steve Wozniak. Together, they created a computer company that is still changing the world today.

It was not a major success, but it gave them a good kick start to their company. Three years after the great Apple II was released, Apple's sales had sky-rocketed 700 percent to $139 million!
