stomp out bullying
Look around you. How many times do you witness someone else being bullied by another person, and you did nothing about it? My guess is very often, because you were afraid they’d do something back to you. Is that always the case though? This is why we need to end bullying, and get stricter laws worldwide to end everyone from bullying. I don’t think anyone deserves to bully anyone or to be bullied. No one should have to go through the pain of being physically, emotionally, verbally, or cyber bullied. When someone gets physically bullied they get horrible wounds that everyone would be able to notice, and they end up permanently damaged for the rest of their lives. They would have to live the pain for a very long time. When someone gets emotionally or verbally bullied by someone, it’s usually the words that the bully says to the victim that makes start to believe the words. They start to skip out on school, even possibly hide in school so the bully can’t find them and put them down in anyway. When someone gets bullied to that maximum point, they end up taking their very own life away. People who kill themselves do to bullying thought they weren’t good enough for anyone. They take all their faith and courage away because of one person or multiple people who tore them down. We can end the people from doing that always we need to do is stop them from getting bullied. There have been many reported cases of people getting bullied within the last month by other people, like in states such as: California and Ohio. The people have been really hurt by cyber, physical, emotional bullying. Things like this happen in our everyday lives. If every state could come together to help fight against bullying, the whole world would be a better for everyone. Think about it. Who are to judge, we’re not perfect, we all have flaws. What would life be like if someone could just walk down their school hallway without bullying a girl for the way she looks, or assuming that the

There has been a progression of bullying happening as many may have noticed, in order to be able to get the bullying to stop or to even calm down someone needs to step up and have a talk, or needs to discipline the bullies. Walking down hallways at school, people say mean words, they do not think of other people's feelings as they say the cruel words coming out of their mouths. Mostly, the reasons being why children, and young adults are usually bullying someone may be because they were not disciplined enough as a child, their parents may have not been around to do so, or they may have a rough life at home. The reasoning trying to be stated is the bullying comes from selfish people. A person can tell if somebody else is selfish or not because selfish people tend to block out what others are feeling around them, how their days went, and/or what is going on in their lives. Selfish people do not care about anyone else except for themselves. A selfish person could see somebody with nothing to their name and still not help them because they do not want to do anything for anybody else. Everyone may have a friend or a family member who they may think is a selfish person, as many people may know a person that is selfish do not be afraid to stand up to them and knock them down and tell them what they are doing is wrong. Selfish people are everywhere in todayś society and they do not care if…

Bullying happens when they are not around either of them people and also some kids are too scared to tell their parents because they don’t know how they will act nor do they know if they will stop getting bullied or if it would happen more. The victims of such actions need to understand that they can get out of that situation and also that they can sometimes do it by themselves because being bullied can mess a child up in the long run(Jacobs and McMahon np). The child can become antisocial or become very insecure about themselves, which no child deserves to go through all their lives. Not only do the people that get bullied become very distressed but also the people who witness the action happening can become very uncomfortable and stressed. This isn’t fair to the witnesses either because it can mess with their physical, mental, psychological and social well beings, along with the victim’s well being too. These problems with the victims and witnesses well beings can have a long term effect which isn’t good for either of them (Jacobs and McMahon np). Some of these situations lead to physical threats which are the one of the most common types of bullying. Also, most…

Bullying has become an epidemic, and it needs to come to an end. If people will stand up for each other and protect each other, I believe bullying would cease to be effective. It preys on those who do not have the confidence to defend themselves. Often times, the bully hurts others as a way of protecting himself. He believes that if he attacks others, then they will not know he himself is hurting, or has been hurt in the past. It becomes a coping mechanism for him. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that bullying should not be responded to with more violence. They need to be shown love, but firm love. A love that says, “I love you enough to not let you continue down this path. Let me show you another way.” Then you are not only l protecting those that the bully hurts, but also you are protecting the bully himself in the long run.…

Being bullied leads to suicide, this is like murder. One factor that has been linked to suicidal ideation is experience with bullying. Youths that have bullied and bullied others are at an elevated risk for suicidal thoughts, attempts, and completed suicides. Research shows that experience with peer harassment (most often as a target) leads to depression, decreased self-worth, hopelessness, and loneliness; all are precursors to suicidal thoughts and behaviors. There have been several high-profile cases involving teenagers taking their own lives in part because of being harassed and mistreated over the internet, cyberbullicide- suicide indirectly or directly influenced by experiences with online aggression. “We search to determine if suicidal ideation was also linked to experiences with cyberbullying among offenders and targets” (Hinduja, pg.1). research says that approximately 2,000 randomly-selected middle schooler’s from one of the most populous school districts in the United States, 20% of respondents reported seriously thinking about attempting suicide for females is 19.7% and for males is 20.9%, while 19% reported attempting suicide for females is 17.9% and for males is 20.2%.…
