Stopping crimes and violence against women
As we all know, crimes against humanity have been increasing at a fast pace in the past few years. They have been committed by a wide range of people. Drug trafficking, frauds, human trafficking, poaching, prostitution, murder, theft, assault etc. are just a few of the crimes that exist in India. Many criminal operations also engage in black marketeering, religious and political violence, cyber crimes, terrorism, and abduction. Corruption is also a significant problem and is widespread in India. It is prevalent within every section and every level of the society.
One of the most aggressive forms of crimes is sex violation. Around the world at least one woman in every three has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime. Every year, violence in the home and the community devastates the lives of millions of women. It is rooted in a global culture of discrimination which denies women equal rights with men. Sexual harassment can also affect a woman mentally. This violates a woman’s right to physical integrity, liberty and also her right to life itself. It is even harder for her to obtain justice. Thus it is a violation of human rights that cannot be justified by any political, religious, or cultural claim. Now to completely stop such crimes, we should remember that such criminal ideas and thoughts generate in the human mind. According to me, prevention is always the best way to deal with violence. Some steps which can be taken for preventing crimes are that: We should make sure that all the youth in the society have positive ways to spend their spare time and opportunities, rather than mingling with bad groups.
We can work with public agencies or organisations in solving a problem. We should report a crime as soon as possible to the police. As students, we can take part in training programs, spread awareness among people and speak up for the

Gender crimes are incidents of violence targeting women exclusively, not because the victims are a particular religion or race, but because they are women. Gender based violence against women has a long, tragic history. Social conflict and societal change have been and continue to be waged on many fronts, particularly through violent acts against women’s bodies. Such violence has taken the form of sexual torture, rape, disappearances and murder (Pineda-Madrid 3). The reason for these brutalities is unclear but the damage…

When women and girls are denied the chance to fully contribute to society because of the violence or fear they face, our entire world suffers. Violence against women has been rooted back to more than 2000 years ago. Roman laws gave men full reign over women and were able to punish their wives and children with sticks or whips. In current culture it is still used for males to keep their dominant position over women. Over years many efforts both big and small have been made to improve governments’ responses to this human rights issue.…

Nowadays, there is a global rape epidemic and there are just a few laws to prevent it. Sexual violence against women is a big issue in society because women’s human rights are being violated. It leads to too many health problems, for example, exposure to HIV and also to physical and mental problems. There are some countries who allow the rapist to get married with the victim in order to stay free and impunity from their crime. Government should stop this as soon as possible. Some national studies have shown that up to 70% of women have experienced either physical and/or sexual violence in their life-time. Sexual violence against girls and women should stop immediately because each human deserves to have a respectable life.…

I choose this topic because sexual assault is one of the most offensive crimes committed in our society. Not only is it a threat to the community, but it has a physically and psychologically effect on the victim in many ways. For the last couple of decades, sexual assault, rape, and child molestation has become the focal point of public concerns today. According to a 1993 National Crime Victimization Survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, about 500,000 rapes or sexual assaults occur each year (Statistics, March 2010). The Department of Justice states that, “rape crimes have risen nearly three times as fast as the total crime rate”, although other studies have shown statistics that are in conflict with these numbers; due to the victims that do no report their attacks.…
