Strategically Cut Out Shirt Descriptive Essay

The first picture is of a model in a strategically cut out shirt. The shirt is white with panels cut out on the back that gives a splayed out sort of effect. The model is wearing blue pinstripe pants that have a slit up the right leg. The split is outlined in ruffles that cascade down the model’s leg. She is also wearing some wine colored sandals. She is wearing no noticeable accessories. The use of shape seems interesting and the lines are good. The shirt shows off the model’s figure. Also the sandals are muted and seem to pull the clothes together. The style reminds me of a pirate with all the cut up clothing and ruffles. I enjoy the pants, but I think the shirt is kind of overkill. The clothes are overall interesting to look at. I don’t enjoy the sandals but that’s a personal preference because I don’t like sandals.

The second picture shows a model with layered jackets. Which gives it a roman feel because of the layers. The top jacket is a dark, almost black blazer. It has two front pockets
I feel it gives shape pinches in the middle, but flows to the top and the bottom. I feel the hat brings the clothes together, but the skirt is drab and matches the nearby curtains. I enjoy the pop of color the shirt brings to the models look.

The final picture I chose because it reminded me of Star Wars. Her shirt is a snow white high collared no sleeve top. It is cropped on the front, but drapes down her back to about her knees in the back. It looks like a cape. The skirt looks like a wicker chair, it is high-waisted. Its color has a birch appearance. Her heels are beige and taper into a point at the toes. This ensemble has a lot of shape and I feel they blend well. It has a soft top with a hard bottom. I enjoy the shapes of these clothes, but the skirt looks incredibly uncomfortable. As if it is actually made out of wood. I do, however, enjoy the cape of the shirt and its high
