Goals Paper Life is full of opportunities, its what and how you decide to go about these opportunities that decides your path in life. For people like me that like to plan ahead and make goals to a brighter future it is a simple task. I have established three different types of goals, two that will lead me to my long term goal of getting a job with the orange county sheriffs office. My personal long term goal is to move out of my home and live either with some friends as roommates or alone. My Academic goal would definitely have to be to get a B.A. Degree in Criminal Justice. To achieve these long term goals I’m going to need to build on a basis of smaller and less time consuming goals. For

This value is personal to me because I’m growing and want to experience life as a young adult. This isn’t going to be possible living in a house with a younger brother and hundreds of other responsibilities around the house. To achieve this long term goal, I have set up an intermediate goal which is to open my own savings account with the bank of my choice. I want to do this because it will ensure that I will have enough money to cover rent wherever I may go for a few months and not worry about how I’m going to pay for rent. My short term goal to be able to accomplish both my intermediate and long term goal is to get a job. I want to get a job so I can both support myself and save money for future investments. One major challenge is finding a job that would hire someone out of high school. It is tough especially in this economy, so im going to apply to every place that is welcoming …show more content…
This goal is the most precious to me because becoming a cop has been my goal for a long time. I believe that this goal will pave the road to my future in many ways. My intermediate career goal is to enroll at the Criminal Justice Center at Valencia. This would give me the fundamentals and increase my chances of being hired by the Sheriffs Office. My short term goal for becoming a cop is to finish all the pre-requisite courses offered at Valencia to gain an advantage to new people just starting the institute. Hopefully no challenges come my way, if so I would do my best to overcome and succeed under any means

When it comes to my education my short-term goal is to finish out this school year and maintain my current GPA. I find it easier to motivate myself each day if I have set in stone grade goals in mind. My long-term education goal is to finish my Associate of Applied Business degree in spring 2017 and my Associate of Arts degree in spring of 2018. I have enough classes and credit hours to finish a second associate degree in two part-time semesters. My short term career goal is to continue where I am until I graduate and learn as much as I can from those around me. We all like to visualize where we would like to be, whether the vision is wanting to practise law or to become the biggest movie star. I have dreams of being a successful business owner or becoming a lawyer - whichever makes more sense to me in the future. Attending Queen’s University is the first step to achieving my dream. I hope to attend Queen’s this coming fall for either economics or computer science. Currently I am trying to make my vision of going to Queen’s become a reality by doing my best to keep my grades up in all of my classes and actively be a contributing member of society. After receiving my bachelors degree, depending on whether I choose the business path or law path, I plan on attending university for my master in business (MBA) or do a three year law degree. After finishing my schooling I hope to move to a city like Toronto, Montreal,or New York City as I believe I would have more opportunities to grow as a person and be able to secure better jobs. Another future goal of mine that is not school or career related is to own a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. To make this goal into a reality I need to ensure I follow through on my career goals. As you can see, I plan for many great things in the future. My main goal is to be someone I am proud of; to do it on my own and without anyone else's influence. My future goals are what keep me motivated to…

To me it means a lot of things such as graduating with at least a B average without dropping out or failing any of my classes but most importantly it means that I walked away with something important.
