Problem and it’s Setting’s
This chapter presents the introductions, definition of terms, statement of the problems and objectives, scope and limitations of the study, significance of the study and conceptual framework.
1.1 Introduction
Education has become an important part of our life. In the process of acquiring knowledge (while studying) parents are very much worried about their children whether they are attending the classes properly or not. They even don’t have time to monitor their children with their busy works. Here is a project which takes out this problem (to the parents).
It is the time consuming task for parents to check regular presence of the students to the high school. And also for the high school administrative people it is time consuming task to check each and every student attendance to the parents. But this project gives the intimation to the parents about the bunking of the student for the high school through SMS (Short Message Service) will give and easy, low cost and automatic solution. This project consists of RFID and SMS. RFID Reader is placed at the entrance. If any student is present within the time then this student presence information is goes to the parent’s mobiles. If they are late present within the grace period this late presence information is goes to the parent’s mobiles. Like every student information is sends to different numbers.
RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) is one of the most common technology used in identification nowadays, due to the easy availability of almost all information on the internet these days, students are less motivated to attend the lecture. This project is to simplify Student Tracking System with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and SMS (Short Message Service). With the RFID kit, the system will be developed by using .NET technology and database support. The systems also have integrated with the RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) Database
