Students Skip School
Students skip school.

Students skip school; it is the behavior that the children have not enjoyed to learn then they avoid or escape from the school. In my opinion, I totally agree this problem is occurred from several reasons which their family and teachers should coordinate to solve this problem. First reason which may affect student to abstain from school; the child cannot understand the lesson, then they lack of interest in learning and a focus on learning. So, it may make them to have an experiencing failure in school and lower academic achievement. In additional, they may not have the close friends and their friends may threaten them. Second reason, their family is unhappy, poor or rich but lack of love and care from their parents. And the last reason is school and teacher, they do not understand children. There are strict rules and teacher is an authoritarian and inflexible or teacher may punish severely student. Also some teacher has the teaching method as not interesting. These reasons should influence students to keep away from school. For the ways to solve the problem, family and teachers should be the main person to solve the problem, thus I thought that it should begin at home first. Whenever the parents have been known the disappointment because of their child, then they should calm their anger first to find the cause of the children leaving school. The parents should not refer to the question “Why….” to their child but the parents should begin with love and understanding, and ready to forgive them. Then, the parents begin to solve the problems and engage with the children and the school in order to provide opportunities and activities to reduce the value feeling of children and attitude of children since someone thought that they devalue. Besides, the parents and teachers should be the person who understand the development of children and youth by raising the right way and encourage children to develop their own

They back talk teachers, skip class, and get up and leave class. Some students don’t care about school and their grades, most of them don’t even do their homework and half the time they fail test/quizes. So they’ll probably be a decrease in grades, and maybe even an increases in absents. On the other hand there’s students who want to learn, get good grades, and they take the time to study for tests/quizes so they don’t fail. But they may be getting home later so they won’t have time to study or do homework, but if they study they’ll be going to bed late so in the morning they may be feeling tired and worn out.…

Everyday kids drop out of school at young ages. One of the common ages are 16 years old. Student bullies are just one of the first reasons but it’s a very strong reason for kids dropping out and it’s becoming more and more sever. The behaviors of the student have a negative impact not only on the learning education system but on the nation too. The students who bunk for the school for a short or large part of the day called tardiness or the entire of the day called truancy not only harm academic failure, but give to the rising number of students who negatively impact the standing of the educational system as well as nation. The negative effect not only influence schools by deterring educational leaders from effectiveness and helpful educational plan with stability and exclusive of information breaks for the students, but also puts requirements on society to determine how they will help students and their families with emotional and social requirements. This study explored the medical, economic, social, emotional and psychological causes for the tardiness of student in a middle school background (Leigh & Lust 2008). Mandatory School

It's hard enough to get kids to take their education seriously when it's compulsory, I can't imagine the number of kids who would totally give up on the idea if they actually had a choice in the matter. “Mandatory attendance laws force many to attend school who have no wish to be there… The solution to this problem is simple: Abolish compulsory- attendance laws and allow only those who are committed to getting an education attend”. This is what Roger Sipher wrote in his article “So that nobody has to go to school if they don’t want to” that was published in the “New York Times” on December 22, 1997. The author states that mandatory attendance laws should be abolished because they force the people who have no wish of learning to attend school, that they get the teacher, and the dedicated kids of topic. I disagree with sipher’s argument that getting rid of mandatory attendance laws would improve the education system because every kid is entitled to an education and by abolishing these laws it would give kids the option of going to school. It would hurt the countries’ economy and the countries’ education system and it would look bad at an international level. By abolishing these laws parents would not get notified of when their kids are not in school, and this could eventually lead to a tragedy one day.…

First of all, high school students need to realize that attending class is very important for a good education. When students decide not to attend class, they are very much jeopardizing their learning process. The students begin to lose the lessons learned each day in class. Also, they miss out on the fun activities that actually coincide with learning in a classroom setting. For example, when I cut class, I missed out on a lot of different group activities. I didn't get to share personal experiences with other students that might have been rather enjoyable.…

Thinking about many issues in today’s society, there are many reasons an individual would drop out of school such as pregnancy, family concerns, and individual reasons. Most people know that education is important however, there can be many circumstances and/or situations that could prevent a person to drop out of school. One reason that came to mind was pregnancy. With me being a mother, I know the hardships and the problems that came come about after having a child. If a parent does not have a good support system as well as some financial help, then this could cause a parent to drop out of school to take care of their child. Another reason for a person to drop out of school would be family concerns. Meaning, if a person’s relative becomes sick and there is no other person to take care of them then one may drop out of school in order to take care of that relative. Another reason I feel that could cause a person to drop out of school is that the school is not addressing their needs or if the person feel being in school is not helping their situation. Some people have to have special attention or needs in school and if the school is not addressing them, then it could cause the person to fall behind in their studies. From all of these reasons, there are many effects that are created from a person dropping out of school. One effect is that it increases their chance of not being able to find a good job. Another effect for not attending school could be isolation. In other words, if a person does not graduate with their peers they may begin to think negative of themselves and then may isolate themselves from friends and family because they do not feel that they are “good enough.” Overall, there could be many more causes and effects of dropping out of school. I just chose to discuss the…
