Ans. Advantages and disadvantages for proceeding with DHL Pakistan’s HRIS are as follows:- Advantages :- i) The pakistan’s HRIS software was used by DHL Pakistan comfortably. ii) Pakistan’s HRIS can be made by country specific customization relatively quickly. iii) Pakistan’s HRIS was fully functional and well worked in Pakistan. iv) Pakistan’s HRIS was the quickestway for HQ to achieve its goal to standardize HR reporting systems across the Asian region. v) ThePakistan team had assured Bruce that it could easily customize its HRIS to suit other DHL subsidiaries’ requirements and that it also had the ability and willingness to provide technical assistance whenever needed. Disadvantages :- i) The pakistan’s HRIS software id complicated which requires a lot of familiarization to become comfortable with. ii) Pakistan’s Hris team has not develop yet any user or technical training manuals. iii) DHL Bangladesh and DHL Pakistan were very different in terms of their operations and size, and the two countries’ HRIS requirements refl ected that divergence . iv) Pakistan’s HRIS is five times costlier than the local vendor software. v) To make change is more awkward as it can only done by pakistan’s technical team.

Advantages and disadvantages for proceeding with a local Bangladesh vendor are as follows:- i) Local vendors can demonstrate their software within a weeks . ii) Software developed by the local vendors are available at low cost. iii) They are easy to to make any changes if required.

Disadvantages :- i) Local software have to develop
