Upon arrival Officer Peterson made contact with the complainant Kimsha Collins, who advised her daughter, Annekeyara Turner, slapped her and knocked her down and pulled her wig off her head. Collins then advised she hit the wall with her body in one of the bedrooms damaging the drywall during the altercation. Collins also pointed out hair on the floor and stated Turner pulled it out during the altercation. Officer Peterson was advised the domestic altercation derived from a verbal altercation.
Turner advised she did slap her mother and shove her down.

Peterson did not observe any physical injuries on Collins other than the hair on the floor. Officer Peterson attempted to arrest Turner for domestic violence. Officer Peterson approached Turner and advised her to stand up and place her hands behind her back. Turner refused by remaining seated. Officer Peterson assisted Turner in standing up, she then started pulling away resisting arrest. Once restrained with wrist restraints (handcuffs) Turner was advised she was arrested for resisting arrest and domestic violence simple assault. Turner was transported to D'Iberville Police Department where she was processed before being transported to Harrison County Adult Detention Center (ADC) on bond. Prior to transporting Turner to the ADC Judge Albert Fountain was contacted who placed a $1,000.00 surety bond on both charges.
