Summary Of Carrie Green's 'Programming Your Mind For Success'
In the Ted Talk by Carrie Green ‘Programming Your Mind For Success’, I reflected on many great ideas for success. The main concept I took out of if was about your mindset. In the talk Carrie Green tells of how she encountered many jobs but they flat out made her miserable. Way too many people have already decided that a job is a way to pay the bills and nothing more. Green says her own negativity decreased when she realized what was holding her back. She had to figure out what she wanted to do and who she needed to become to accomplish her goals. She needed to know why she was going after a specific goal instead of others. Then she had to program her mind to do it. Looking to apply this material to my everyday life I relate this mindset to school and higher education. I feel sometimes I do feel uninterested in school and feel no point to it but in the long run it will make me a more marketable employee as it comes time to look for a profession. As far as when it is time to look for a profession I will apply the same bases that Carrie Green did in you life and that she illustrated in her Ted Talk. I will keep a positive mindset through the process. I will look into occupations that will both pose a prosperous income and will center around activities and concepts that i both stand for and believe in and also flat out enjoy. just like the old saying if you love what you are doing you will never work a day in your life. As a whole I feel this has changed my outlook on what I am doing in my
