Cormier, was an excellent short story with a nice vivid and realistic ending that makes me
joyous and tingly because of the fact that Mike and his father make up. In the end of
Cormier's short story, Mikes father explains all of this as a misunderstanding, and wraps up
the ending, resuming into a conclusion that was so short and sweet but yet, still
predictable. While I was reading this story, I was so wrapped up in Cormier's description of
how Mike felt, that I was practically begging in my mind for an exquisite closing that would
leave me in awe. I could predict the ending just a bit by how Cormier described the crisis
that Mike was in, and I could just
