So they ran to the top of the hill and they kiss. The next day Cassia wakes up to screaming and everyone walks outside. Ky’s mom is screaming and crying and obviously something is wrong then Cassia sees Ky being taking away in handcuffs and she just starts running even though you can’t run in public places. Ky was going away. She screamed to him and when he heard her he turned around and tried to get to her without the officials getting in the way. They couldn’t get to each other but when he turns around and looks at her there is love in his eyes and she knows he is going to fight as hard as he can. She points to the sky and he knows that she is referring to the poem and their love. When Ky was taking away so were his parents. The officials then make everyone in the borough take the red tablet. Cassia then takes the tablet and squishes the tablet to where you can’t see it in the grass. Her official then walks around to go see if everyone took their tablets. When the official got to her she asked her if she had taken her tablet. She said not yet and made it look like it was in her hands and then she pretended to put it in her mouth. The official looked at her then looked at the ground and smiled as if she knew that she didn’t take the tablet but wanted her to remember the moment that just had took place with Ky. The next day when everyone woke up not remembering what happened Cassia’s mom got a call that made her think that everything was her fault. Cassia and her family were being moved to a different borough the next day. Ky’s mom and dad were also moved but everyone was told that Ky’s dad got promoted to an official but Cassia knew

Curtis and Janet went to a different school then Rufus but he still walked them to school then walked himself to school. On his way to school a car followed him very slowly but Rufus kept walking. When he got to school it looked the same on the outside that it always had. Rufus pushed open the doors at Searingtown School and yelled “I’m back!” All of his friends ran over to hug him. He went down to the office to get a tour he thought he didn’t need because he remembered every single solitary thing about this place. While the tour was going on everything going on was a blur. He looked left, right and left again, admiring the changes the school had made. “Wow” he sighed. “Is there a problem Rufus?” the tour guide asked. Rufus answered, “When I was here the wall paint was all chipped, there were broken windows and holes in the walls.” “Oh ok, well that concludes our tour and this door on your right is your first period class.” The tour guide replied. Rufus walked in and sat at an available seat at the back of the class room. He opened his notebook and took notes even though he didn’t understand anything that was going on. By the time 5th period came around it was time for lunch he was starving. All of his friends called him over and asked him to sit with him. Momma didn’t make him a big lunch because they didn’t have that much food in the house and then needed to split it 3 different ways. Allison who used to have a big crush on Rufus sat right next to him. Mitchell and Charlie sat across from him and Christina, Alisha and Sammy sat around them. The book I am reading is Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts. I have read to the part that Novalee has been living at Walmart for the past month, because her boyfriend dumped her there and she had no where else to go. The last chapter that I read was Chapter six, this chapter is about a birthday dinner that Forney the library guy had for her. This book is very interesting, I am enjoying a lot. It is so be superticious about the number seven, but still be lucky enough to live at a Walmart for so long and not get cought, not only that but she has met many different kind of folks around that town, many people that seem to be a sign to her life. I think after all that she has been trough so far I am thinking she may be luck after all. In the Story Novalee’s boyfriend is a jerk, he is not the ideal boyfriend anyone would want to have. It seems that she really was in love with Willy Jack, but he couriously had no interest for her, I am guessing he manipulated her just like he did with Jolene in New Mexico; and after Novelee got pregnant he got tired of her and decided to leave her there at walmart. After Willy Jack got arrested in New Mexico, I was happy. I really thought he was going to get away with him doing something like that twp this young girls.…

Anyone reading Ally Condie’s Matched in this time and age has probably noticed the patterns of dystopian love fiction many times: the love triangle, the teenage girl protagonist, the clichés, and a villain who is powerful and controls the society. There is a constantly growing book pile of dystopian literature yet new ones are still made. Condie merges the reader and the characters and grounds us in a strange world where the Society holds all the power and rules as a totalitarian government.…
