What Happened to Cass McBride
I read the book what Happened to Cass McBride. It was a very good book that keeps you on your toes. What I liked most about it though was that you would never expect what happens in the end of the story. I also like that the main character who stayed strong through the whole book and it teaches people who read this, that just when you think it’s over, it’s really not. This is one of my favorite books that I have read.
This story mainly takes place in a green house under ground, where Cass McBride, a smart, funny, popular freshman is buried alive. The main characters in this storey are Cass McBride the freshmen who was buried alive, David Kirby a lonely kid who hangs himself, And Kyle Kirby the older brother of David Kirby. The book I chose this week is called "Tjatjakaymatchan (Coyote) A legend from Carmel Valley" by Alex O. Ramirez and is a Native American tale about why the coyote calls into the night. I would categorize this book as fiction because of the talking coyote and fox. I decided to read this book because of my Choctaw heritage and it reminded me that many first people languages and stories are vanishing into the time because they not written down most of the time. The most interesting piece of information that I found was about why this book was published and it was because the writer's friends encouraged him to write down his memories of his Elders so that they would not fade into time. I also thought his illustrations were interesting because unlike…

I liked this book mainly because of how different it was compared to my lifestyle and how entertaining it was. Nikki turner didn’t really sugar coat much so I felt I was watching a movie and saw it for what it truly was. Like anyone’s guilty pleasure we all like reality television and it kind of reminded me of just that with fights and drama. The books good points that were how certain events that happen in one’s life good or bad really do shape a person into who they become. Teaching me to not be ashamed of what happens and to only use that circumstance as a motivation of some kind. For anyone that is interested in a gritty, suspenseful, and eye bulging book that keeps you wondering what’s next I would definably recommend this book to that someone willing to take a…

Plot: Commencing at Del Norte High School of a small town called Alberseque, five students began to involve themselves in scheming and plotting of a very twisted plan which backfired on them. The scheme slowly evolved after many conflicts between the students and their English teacher, Mr. Griffin, for various reasons such as marks or dislike of his teaching methods. Mark, who had failed the course and deeply loathed Mr. Griffin, brainstormed to kidnap and "scare" the teacher with the help of his friends, Jeff and Betsy. In desperate need of a distraction or diversion for this plan, Mark told his friend, Dave to ask the smartest girl in the class, Susan (who liked Dave) for help; she was expected to arrange a conference with Mr. Griffin on the kidnapping day. Although Susan didn't want to, she agreed for Dave's sake. On the day, they waited anxiously for Mr. Griffin to come from the conference. When he approached, the students (except Susan) bagged his head and drove him to a secluded area. After they arrived there, the teenagers pressed the teacher to beg for a release, but he refused; out of anger, they dumped his heart medication and left afterwards. A few hours later, Susan called Dave with guilt to bring Mr. Griffin back, but too late --- the teacher already died of a heart attack when they came. They immediately drove back to school and notified their friends. Mark declared that they went too far and it was time to destroy any clues and hide the truth. Meanwhile, Mrs. Griffin notified the police, who assumed her husband deserted her. To add onto that, Mark persuaded Susan into lying to the police (she was supposed to be the last one to see the teacher) that Griffin left with another woman (lying he was still alive). To destroy all possible clues, the teenagers got rid of the car and buried the body. Just then, someone reported finding Griffin's medication (with his name). The police went to the spot, found the burial site, and dug up the body. Meanwhile,…

Usually when I read, it takes me a long time to finish a book, but I finished this book in two days. I normally dread reading, but I couldn’t put this book down. If I had to put it down to go soccer or a swim meet I thought constantly about it and what could happen next. This book keeps you on your toes. You never knew what would happen next. Over all I thought that this book was excellent. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who loves a good suspense story.…
