The doll was connected to Abigail and Elizabeth. Mary was by Abigail making the doll in the court room and gave the doll to Elizabeth when she was done. We all know Abigail don’t like Elizabeth so they think she set them up to get rid of her. During this time Mary is still honest and trustworthy until proctor gets very angry at her.
Finally, Proctor made Mary warren lie in court and all the girls made it seem like she was associate with the devil. Mary testimony saying she never saw no spirit and that none of the girls did.
