The Crucible The title of the play is called the Crucible By: Arthur Miller. This play is basically about how a couple of people is accused of witchcraft in a little town called Salem. People where very religious in this town and got rid of anything they though was connected to the devil. The most admirable character is Mary Warren she is very honest and innocent. Mary went to the trials, she made the doll that basically put Elizabeth in jail, When proctor made her lie she still came out and told the truth.

We all know Abigail don’t like Elizabeth so they think she set them up to get rid of her. During this time Mary is still honest and trustworthy until proctor gets very angry at her.
Finally, Proctor made Mary warren lie in court and all the girls made it seem like she was associate with the devil. Mary testimony saying she never saw no spirit and that none of the girls did. Everyone is questioning her in court making her paranoid until she confess saying proctor made her do it.
