The main problems that are state in this article are the kinds of language style, which use in the advertisements in The Jakarta Post newspaper and the form of the language styles used in that advertisement.
The researcher done this article research in order to know the kinds of language styles used in the advertisements in The Jakarta Post newspaper and the other purpose is to get the information about descriptive knowledge on the ways to know how language styles are used in advertisements found in The Jakarta Post newspaper.
The researcher used the several methods in their research and the methods are the population and sample, research design, research instrument, data collection, data analysis and trustworthiness. The researcher used that method to know how Language styles used in the advertisements exposed in the Jakarta post newspaper. The first method that researcher used is the population and sample. The researcher took The Jakarta Post newspaper advertisements on March and April 2013. There are many advertisements there in that editions and it make the researcher cannot include all the one-month edition. Because of that for the sample, the researcher will focus on product advertisements in eight editions of The Jakarta Post newspaper randomly. The second method the researcher used is research design. The design that the researcher used in this research is qualitative descriptive research, the researcher basically aims at analyzing and
