It started when freezing rain started to drizzle with fog and cover all the roads, trees and power lines with ice. Consequently, many trees fell because the ice was too heavy for the trees to carry. He remembered that the sky was all clear, however it was very gray like a black and white movie. Ice was everywhere, and it was like white,icy glaze was covering the world. The roads were clear of people, and it was very dreary and colorless. My dad said, “ It was a depressing time for all of us.” My dad drove around a lot during the ice storm, however he really didn’t get paid because his work was cancelled for three days. His work was cancelled from frozen pipes, and his work’s transformer exploded. My dad let refugee families stay at his home and drove them around to get food and supplies. He also did lots of volunteer work, like bringing senior citizens soup and trying to comfort the spiritless senior citizens. My dad also drove around and helped clear the roads from branches so people can drive, and he remembered that the weather was very cold. He felt like it lasted for 2-3 weeks.
As you can see, natural disasters can be very dangerous, and they cost lots of money. They can also get very depressing. Natural disasters can can also cause a lot of damage, like fallen trees, road damage, power outage, death, injuries, and etc. Natural disasters are unpreventable which makes them even more treacherous than they already
