What do you need to do?
1. Think yourself in designing a product that you would like to produce. Your goal is that you will open your own business and you are in need to write your business plan right from the scratch. It could be manufacturing goods or a pure service or both. Anything that you like. The product could be a small healthy cookie, a balanced diet for campus students or for employees in a large office restaurant, or a small leisure time activity, a game, a recreation idea, a way to surf internet efficiently for a desired service, a new way to develop jobs, anything small or big. Be very creative in designing and shaping the idea of your product. It could be anything that you really like.
2. It is your product, it could be very big and involved (in terms of money and manpower) or it could be a very simple in nature that you can produce it by yourself. It is your innovation, and unique. It is better not to think about something that is already available, like a restaurant business (you know). It could be about something that you are interested, any product (tangible or intangible).
3. Write about the product (or service) in detail that the reader can understand its (i) Shape (if it is an object), or (ii) function (what it can do and what it will do) or (iii) why you are interested in this product. You should strike out its importance in a paragraph.
4. Once the product is defined, write down the mission of your business firm (which will produce the product or service) and the strategy.
5. Identify the components of Operations, Marketing and Financial parts of your business.
6. Write down some specific points why customers will buy your product. What would be the competitive advantage of your product?
7. Who will be the customers for your product? Are these customers end users? Or another manufacturer who will use your product to manufacture a service or a good. Are you going to satisfy the anticipated demand or
