This research focused on SWOT analysis, Porters 5 forces model and PEST analysis of Marriott .
Marriot International is a leading company with more than 3,700 lodging properties in 73 countries and territories. [Marriott International] Marriott International manages many hotels brands. Marriott Hotels & Resorts are located more than five hundred hotels, two-thirds of them - in the U.S. This is a hotel with a full range of services: they are equipped fitness and business centers, shops and swimming pools. JW, Ritz-Carlton and edition - a brand of luxury hotels. Marriott Executive Apartments provides accommodation businesspeople. Grand Residences manages the resort property. Marriott Vacation Club has been selling and management of timeshare in the U.S., Thailand, Europe and the Caribbean.[ Hoover's Company Profiles]State of Marriott International has about 146,000 employees. The JW Marriott brand took a total of 32 awards in 2011. In 2010 took received a gold LEED certificate. In 1957 the company opened its first hotel of 365 rooms - Twin Bridges Motor Hotel in Arlington. After 12 years, came the first international Marriott hotel in Acapulco. In the 1970 and 80s came on the market in the European market. In 1977, the company celebrated the 50th anniversary, the total sales rose 1 billion dollars in 1998 - has 8 billion, the same Marriott acquired 98% stake in Ritz-Carlton, there was 1500 hotels.
