The organization that I have chosen to do my SWOT analysis on is the New Orleans Saints football team. They are among the most successful teams of this decade but not ranked very high as far as most lucrative organizations in the National Football League. They are currently ranked 23rd among the 30 active teams in the national football league. The organization was formed and became a professional football team in 1967. The team got its nickname due to its founding being on All Saints Day on November 1, 1967. The team initially one of the weaker franchises in the league. It didn’t win many games and struggled to sell out games. They have won one Super Bowl title, 5 Division Championships, and made only 9 playoff appearances in its 46 year existence. The ultimate goal of this organization is to win football games and generate revenue by selling tickets and merchandise.…

Although ADP (Automatic Data Processing) is one of the leading providers of business outsourcing solutions, it has weaknesses that negatively affect the company. One significant aspect of ADP is that the company has clients in many foreign countries, but less than only 20% of ADP’s revenues come from other regions of the world. The company has been majorly focusing on customers’ needs here in the US, keeping their clients up to date with the current laws and regulations (their HR department) and making payroll processing convenient. What they lack, though, is a diversified geographic. It’s important to concentrate on the US operations, but other countries have specific issues that may need to be handled differently. If ADP wants to expand and take full advantage of their services, they ought to pay more attention to their geographic diversification.…

Rawlinson’s concern is to succeed to attract a new segment of the market and to change both users’ behavior and perception towards the Porsche products. In fact, what is common for the Porsche users is that they tend not to use their vehicle during winter time; a habit that they acquired because of the weather conditions that damage their precious and usually wellmaintained car. Worldwide, Porsche takes part into the market of high end luxurious cars, it competes with brands known as being highly ranked in their range (Lexus, Mercedes). So is the case in the Canadian market. Porsche is a brand that captivates a certain category of buyers, with an average age of 45 years old certainly ones with a high income and a good social status who can afford the car’s price. The different models offered by Porsche makes it possible for the brand to capture the interest of different users all along the years. Five models of Porsche are displayed to please the interest of the brand’s amateurs who are usually into this brand since their early age. The Canadian market had witnessed an evident decrease in sales that went down by 17 % between 2007 and 2008 due to the financial crisis not because of the relocation of Porsche Canada. The challenge is that even though the luxury car market is filled with competitors such us BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz and Jaguar, the users are more attracted to standard and basic sports…

The German automotive industry with about 720,000 jobs is one of the biggest industries and dominant employers in Germany and one of the biggest automotive industries in the world (Herbst, 2009). With brands like Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Opel, BMW, Audi and Porsche this industry is major in car manufacturing and technology. According to Taylor (2010) Volkswagen “is the No. 1 automaker in Europe, the No. 1 foreign automaker in China, and currently ranks second in Brazil”. In most cases German cars are more expensive than foreign, especially Asian, imports. Therefore the client base in that industry has an attractive, above average income. With the price advantage the Asian car industry is also a big competitor. Growth rates are continuing to rise after a massive decline during the worldwide financial crisis. Future development potentialities are renewable energies, electronic cars, and hybrid or hydrogen powered engines. Potential threats are government regulations on CO2 emissions and a possible general speed limit on the “Autobahn”, the German highway system which would decrease sales for the big German manufacturers and increase sales for cheaper imports. This industry has a lot of growth potential and a lot of development possibilities. Based on the facts the best decision would be to take a client from the German automotive industry.…
