Sybil's mother was an abusive schizophrenic. As a child Sybil was abused physically and verbally. Her mother would rape her everyday with a buttonhook, give her icy enemas, tie her and gag her, and even break a couple bones. Sybil’s mom was abusive because she had Paranoid Schizophrenia Sybil on numerous occasions would have to watch her parents have sex. Whenever Sybil’s mother miscarried, her father buried the fetus under the shrubs. Sybil's father neglected her by pretending his wife was not abusing her.
