Si Robertson Character Analysis
Si Robertson had a lot of challenges in his life. Si and his family were very poor, but they knew how to live off the land and also had a very good relationship with the almighty God. He spent most of his childhood hunting and being around his family. After school he went to the military and met his wife and had children of his own. Eventually after retiring from the military he started to work for his brother, Phil, at Duck Commander. Over all he has made a good life for himself. Through love and sacrifice, Si Robertson went from dirt poor and having barely anything to having a good family, a good home, and good money.

Through his early life Si Learned to hunt and fish with his brothers, which is where he realized that he loved the outdoors

one time at boot camp the drill sergeant came up to me and started yelling at me. He said he didn't like me smiling all the time so he made me do push up. When I was done I was still smiling. He yelled at me again and he asked why do I always smile so much. And I told him its because i'm always happy and aint bothered by anything.”(Si-cology 1). After training Si was deployed to Vietnam to work at the MIlitary bases. He and his family Lived on the base along with other workers. Si Married his wife Christine right out of college and had a girl named Trasa and a boy named Scott. Si worked on the base moving equipment and supplies with his favorite forklift. Later on he got moved to a base over in Germany and worked on the base there.(Si-cology 1). His job was to help keep the peace with the germans. He liked that job better because he made german friends who like to hunt, so they would offer Si to go hunting with them. Si had killed so many deer and other exotic animals over in germany. After Being in the military for so long Si had to go back to the states. He got a job roofing peoples home, but after about a year Si didn't like what he was doing so he signed back up for the military.(Si-cology 1). By this time war was over and Si had to sit at a desk all day. He never got to do his work because his boss wouldn't give him anything to do so he would bring a pillow and sleep for eight hours. He went back to louisiana to visit his family and Phil, and him went hunting one day and Phil asked him to come work for him at Duck Commander. Si told him he couldn't leave his family again so he said “No”. Later on Si got really depressed because he couldn't see his brothers and parents. His wife, Christine, got real worried about about him, so one night she asked if he had ever thought about moving back to Louisiana. He told her that he thought about it a lot and then she finally told him that she would move to Louisiana if that was really what he wanted. so they put their house on the market and sold it in four days, and they was off to Monroe. Si started the first day back in Louisiana, and he became the reed man for Phil. Si was the best at doing the reeds because he put time and effort into every single reed. Once people started to hear about Duck Commander, they started to sale more duck calls and later on made their own dvds and eventually got a show on the outdoor channel. Si always told them to keep the cameras off him because he wasn’t into all the technology, but they couldn’t help but keep the camera on him because he told lots of stories about the war and growing up. People even started sending letters asking Si to tell more stories. “Hey! the people love me jack!”(Si-cology 1) Si and his whole family are very godly people, they go every sunday morning to church and even plan special
