Sylvanas: A Positive Influence In My Life

I held my breath as I held the bowstring, exhaling, I released my nocked arrow and struck the target right in the bullseye. Never in all my Ranger training had I hit that bullseye. I never would have if I never had Sylvanas Windrunner. Sylvanas was a positive influence in my life because she taught me how to be a good marksman, to never back down in times of oppression, and to accept my fate when it comes.

One of Sylvanas’ most memorable lines she ever told me was “In time, death claims us all.” She was never more right, in time, death will claim everyone, and you can do nothing to change that. It also taught me that when my time comes, embrace it, and don’t be scared. When my fellow Rangers fell, I was scared, as I was the only one left fighting with Sylvanas. She told me to run, find a different life, and live it to the fullest I could, and run I did, only when I heard her scream did I stop, but I
I had used the entire quiver and had not even hit the target once. Sylvanas had walked up to me, retrieved my bow from me, collected my arrows, and let loose on the target, hitting every shot fired. I tood in awe at her performance, her unrivaled expertise, kneeling in front of her, I had asked her if could have personal lessons with her, For I thought that the lack of people would help improve my focus. Sylvanas and I had grown very close during the time in which she trained me, and after a time of intense training, I ascended to the rank of ranger lieutenant, and was almost as good of a shot as her.

I have Sylvanas to thank for the bullseye I had made, standing in front of my own recruits. Without her aid, I would have never became Ranger lieutenant, and I would have never made a great friend. The knowledge she had given to me, I give to my recruits to use. That knowledge was too valuable to ignore. I will never forget her teachings, and I will never forget the sacrifice she had made for our
