My personal level of strength is in teaching values and traditions to my students. Values are the core of every person, without them we have no belief system. This is why I choose to teach my students to establish a set of values which will be with them for the rest of their lives. People must first learn how to be a good person, to be a person of worth. In order to grow as a teacher leader, I should become familiar with all of the rituals and traditions in my school. I should learn the purpose of these rituals and the reasons why they are so important. I plan to work within the symbolic frame to be a prophet in my school setting by appreciating the culture and showing that I care about the efforts of the school, I am setting a good example for those who do not understand or see the importance of the culture.
Taking responsibility to support them and maintain a positive outlook for the future of our culture is a sure way to make sure it moves in the right direction. The Symbolic Frame can be furthered by anyone and has the potential to do great things for the growth an organization. There are many benefits and challenges experienced in using the symbolic frame.
