I want a college admissions committee to know that I’m an active student in my school who still makes time to perform exceedingly well in school as in academics. For example last year I was part of 3 clubs and still management to attend the meets and make sure my grades were A/B honor roll. I want them to know that I have leadership skills and I help mentor or guide other students. In Avid we have tutorials which is basically group studying to help each other to solve our problems. I help my group by being a leader and guiding my classmate to solve their problem. I want them to know that I’m a hard working student who will use resources around to get help if needed. I have stayed after school before with teacher that could help me understand everything I need to know for a unit. Also that I took advantage of many opportunities I was being present with at West Potomac for AVID, BSU , AAS , FBLA , and many more.
