Symbolism In Looking For Alaska

In Looking For Alaska, by John Green, there is a lot of symbolism and meaningful objects presented throughout the book. In my collage, I chose to include some of the book’s most important objects and pictures to help give a deeper understanding of the book. First off, I will explain why I have chosen the pictures on my collage. One of the most important pictures is of the maze, or the labyrinth, which represents the line, “How will we ever get out of this labyrinth of suffering?” that Alaska Young often uses. As the labyrinth is a symbol for life, we see her escape the labyrinth when she dies in a car accident. Another very meaningful symbol is the question mark on my collage that represents “the Great Perhaps”, or a defining moment in life,
