Tackle Football Argumentative Essay
Tackle football, a sport notorious for giving kids various types of injuries and deaths. One of the most common reasons kids can’t play tackle football is because of grades. The sport can distract the kids from doing any work that they have. Grades open up many opportunities for the child, college for example is what any parent would want for their kid. However, scholarships for football is also a good way to get into college free. According to Mancave Daily, ¨Kids will have to maintain a G.P.A. of 3.8 or higher.” This can be hard considering the fact that kids need to practice and play in the football games, on top of that they need to keep a G.P.A of at least 3.8. This can be stressful and parents most likely would make their child’s education their top priority. However, if kids do succeed in keeping their grades up it could lead to opportunities in getting scholarships. Even teachers have different opinions about having tackle football in middle school. According Kapolei Middle School’s principal, Mr.Naguwa,“ No, because doesn’t want to endorse concussions and middle school students aren’t as fully matured.” We also asked a Kapolei Middle School P.E. According to health.usnews.com , “Childhood obesity remains one of the biggest problems facing the country, with more than one-third of kids overweight or obese.” With tackle football in middle school it would allow kids to get in shape both physical and grade wise. Grades are also a big problem in middle schools.
