Lance Corporal Salazar’s ability to successfully learn new tasks and take on increased responsibility has proven to be a testament to his superior work ethic and drive. He is a reliable Marine and is able to successfully manage and prioritize a heavy workload, which further illustrates his maturity and diligence. Lance Corporal Salazar is instrumental in coordinating all CLC2S request that are submitted to the company. He has managed the company’s CLC2S account, for this current fiscal year, by updating the current status of requests and issuing requests to the appropriate work sections. Overall he has processed 30 requests, working 120 administrative man hours outside of his normal working operations. Additionally, he has closed out 73 outstanding requests that were not fully closed. As a Lance Corporal, he has been given the responsibility of managing the company’s fiscal organic account, by tracking, calculating and coordinating the company’s spending quarterly. Overall, Lance Corporal Salazar has been managing $16,433.33 quarterly on average, with a culminated total of $49,300 for this fiscal year so far. Lance Corporal Salazar’s work ethic is evident as he has spent numerous late working days improving overall capabilities. Lance Corporal Salazar is constantly displaying outstanding leadership skills by showing continuous devotion to self-improvement both personally and professionally. Lance Corporal Salazar has completed (6) Marine Corps Institution (MCI) courses on MarineNet. He earned a score of (273) on his Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and a (298) on the Combat Fitness Test (CFT). With his drive to better himself amongst his peers, Lance Corporal Salazar has earned his brown belt. He has also taken time to work on his professional reading requirements, by completing (3) book reports. Lance Corporal Salazar has continue to better himself, by volunteering and completing advanced combat life saver medical training. During his down time, Lance Corporal Salazar has selflessly given his time to help out in the community, accumulating 10 volunteer hours. Lance Corporal Salazar has chosen to participate with the Single Marine Program multiple times, by visiting retirement homes of veterans and spending time with them. His enthusiastic and caring personality is shown during his visits and the time he spends with the veterans. Lance Corporal Salazar has also participated in an event ran by the Camp Pendleton Horse Stables, which allowed children to experience horse care and riding.
