1. INTRODUCTION
This report will show that why in 21st century when most of the national and international companies are adopting traditional or hierarchical structure, the hospitality and tourism industry is one sector where non-traditional or flattened structure has flourished. The report will examine both Traditional and Non-traditional organisational structure, and find out there pros and cons, effect of change in communication, how does it effect on how a business or hotel runs, etc. The report will utilise references from books, articles, web post and few other primary and secondary sources.
2. ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
In a business organisation their can be hundreds or thousands of people working in them in many different and specialised role which could be very complex to handle without a organisational structure. Organisational structures include the different relationships between people in an organisation. It designates formal reporting relationship between the employees of the firm, identify grouping of individuals and it ensures effective communication, coordination and intermix people and department which were previously segregated.
