Technology Affecting Children

Technology is affecting the way kids today learn and how they are performing in school as well as how the communicate. This is a problem because it is affect children and they are the future. It is stated in source that today’s children are given so much information and it is too much for them to handle. This is affecting their information metabolism and there ability to think for themselves. Which will eventually affect how they do in school for it might possibly affect how to structure an essay or even reading. In the past this was not an issue because many did not have that access kids today and back then they had way to develop the skill that are need that some kids might be missing today. in school because it making the students lazier and allowing them to take the easy way out instead of trying on their own. As well as putting effort in to actually learning. The students might also not do the work and just play games and then just copy off of someone else later. In source E Gelernter is trying to say that instead of using technology to improve in science, math, and in other skills or subjects we are using it on useless items for example social media. Today there is a communication issue which is that there is hardly anyone communicating with each other and why you might ask because of technology. People today care more about what is on a small screen than carry to talk to the person next to them at the dinner table. Delaney in source B talks about how in schools everything is now online for students. They are able to post assignments online and correct others work online as well this is affecting them because they are not communicating with each other and they will not have an important skill that they need communication skill for collages want you to have and jobs expect you to have for they all require you to communicate with others in a work place.
