Ted Bundy Antisocial Personality Disorder
The name of the serial killer that I researched is Theodore “Ted” Bundy.
Ted Bundy was born on November 24, 1946 in Burlington, Vermont and died January 24, 1989 at 7 a.m. at the Florida State Prison in Raiford, Florida.
Mr. Bundy was born into an awkward situation. He believed that his mother was his sister and that his grandparents were his parents. He showed an early interest in macabre and knives, but did well in school. He was considered to be a bright child but did not communicate well with the other children around him.
Description of criminal activities
When Ted Bundy was a child he grew up with an addiction to macabre. At the age of three Ted had started a collection of kitchen knives. Ted seemed like a normal child but he had

This was given to Bundy because of his inability to function in normal society. He couldn’t keep a job, stay in school, or keep close relationships with others because he was determined to fuel his killing addiction.
His disorder was never a problem during his trial. However, he was extremely confident in himself because of the fact that he was his own lawyer for certain cases.
Ted Bundy was diagnosed as antisocial because he showed no remorse for others, even the ones who he had never met. He never seemed sorry for his crimes and never had sympathy for any of his victims.
Ted Bundy was never treated for his disorder. He was never going to be able leave prison due to his double death penalty. He was interviewed and may have possibly received therapy but from the information I have found, I did not see where any treatments were used.
End of story
Ted Bundy is no longer living. He was executed at the Florida State Prison on January 24, 1989 around seven o’clock in the morning.
Interesting facts
Ted Bundy lived most of his childhood believing that his mother was his sister and that his grandparents were his

OPINION Well, at first I thought, Ted Bundy would offer a lot of material especially forensics…then it turned out his case really offered frustration and a bite mark. Along with the lack of evidence linking Bundy to cases, there was a lack of scholarly resources to be found. I was able to find some resources, but the most prevalent one used was Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule, who was a long time friend of Bundy.…

Theodore Robert Cowell was born in a Vermont home on 24 November 1946. . He was raised in a middle class family environment. His mother was a department store clerk. During Bundy’s early childhood, he and his mother resided with his psychologically challenged grandfather in Philadelphia. He was raised initially by his grandparents. Teddy, as he was known, believed that his grandparents were his parents, and that his mother was his elder sister. When his mother married Johnnie Bundy in 1951, her son took his stepfather’s name, and was known thereafter as Ted Bundy. On 4 January 1974, Joni Lenz became one of the few women to survive Bundy’s brutal attacks, but her vicious rape, with a bedpost, caused her massive permanent damage. 21-year-old Lynda Ann Healy, a slender, pretty, long haired law student, was not as fortunate, and her disappearance on 31 January 1974 did not initially alarm the police. Bundy moved on to Utah, taking another four victims during October and November, one of whom turned out to be the daughter of the local police chief, and no effort was spared to track down the killer. Bundy went on trial in Utah on 23 February 1976, for the aggravated kidnapping of Daronch. Ted confessed to over 30 murders, but the actual number remains a mystery. It is estimated that the number of people could be from 26 up to 100. His reign of terror lasted from 1973 to 1978.…

Bundy’s first arrest was in 1975 when the police tried to stop him for a driving violation. Instead of just stopping his car, he tried to get away by turning his car lights off and speeding through stop signs. When they finally got to him, they searched his car, because he was said to be suspicious. When they searched his car they found hand cuffs, an ice pick, a crowbar, pantyhose with holes for his eyes, along with other suspicious items. The front side of Bundy’s passenger side was also missing, they later arrested Ted on suspicion of burglary. After this Bundy was arrested many more times. For instance, he was arrested for the for the kidnapping of DaRonch, because she described things she saw in her kidnapper’s car and it was a match…

After eight weeks at the home Louise returned to her parent’s house in Philadelphia to raise her new son. For the first several years of his life Ted Bundy thought his grandparents were his parents and his mother was his sister. In 1951, Louise and Ted Bundy moved to Tacoma Washington; and Louise married Johnnie Bundy, a military cook. Despite his parental circumstances and meager surroundings Ted Bundy was well behaved and grew into an attractive teen who was generally liked and who performed well in school. After high school he entered the University of Puget Sound and continued to do well academically; but felt uncomfortable around his fellow peers who were predominantly wealthy. In his sophomore year, Ted Bundy transferred to the University of Washington to escape the uncomfortable feeling of his financial status.…

Bundy stated as a young boy he found pornography. He found this in the local grocery store and in a local drug store. He became fascinated with the hard core pornography. Bundy stated that it happened in stages. “My experience with pornography generally, but with pornography that deals on a violent level with sexuality, is once you become addicted to it — and I look at this as a kind of addiction like other kinds of addiction — I would keep looking for more potent, more explicit, more graphic kinds of material. Until you reach a point where the pornography only goes so far, you reach that jumping off point where you begin to wonder if maybe actually doing it would give that which is beyond just reading it or looking at…

His mother Eleanor Cowell, was twenty-two years old and was unmarried when she had her son Ted, which scandalized her deeply religious parents. She later brought Ted to her parents in Philadelphia. To hide the fact he was an illegitimate child, Bundy was raised as the adopted son of his grandparents and was told that his mother was his sister. In 1951, Eleanor later moved with Ted to Tacoma, Washington and finally became married to Johnnie Bundy. At the age of 3, Ted became fascinated by knives and other burglary tools he can find. He’s imagination was not like any ordinary child as he grew, but he’s imagination was more dreadful. In school, Bundy was a shy and bright child who did well in school but not with his peers. Paralleling this tendency, ‘Biography Editors’ points out that as a teenager, a darker side of his character started to emerge. He started to look in other people’s window and thought nothing of stealing things he wanted from others. Next, while he was a student at the University of Washington, Bundy fell in love with a wealthy and pretty young woman name Carole Anne Boone. He became married and brought a beautiful daughter in the world in October of 1982. Finally, Bundy’s horrible imagination was starting to grow bigger and bigger over the years. Even though, he attended the best school in Washington, met the love of his life, nothing didn’t stop his imagination of killing by making it a…

Ted Bundy was a serial killer who raped and murdered more than 30 women in the U.S. During one of Bundy’s last interviews hours before he was executed he expressed the fact the pornography had played a major role in his being who he was present day. I believe that Bundy’s early interest in pornography had an unseen hand on his becoming a serial killer. Ted Bundy’s early exposure to pornography was minimal like all teenagers who had a fascination with it at first. For example Bundy’s phrase, “ as young boys,” during the interview shows his understanding that pornography is a stage most young males go into venturing while developing into an adult. Bundy’s exposure to pornography was more graphic then “regular” adult material and he felt as…
