Teddy Island-Personal Narrative
It all started when I was taking Teddy on a walk to the trail. When we first entered the trail Teddy started acting weird. As I was walking him on the leash he sniffed more than usual. We got to the part of the trail where Teddy could do his business and a little further a head there was a pile of red berries sitting laying in a pile. Teddy bolted to the pile of berries and started to scarf them down. I was thinking to myself “he’s just going to get a stomachache and that’s all”. When Teddy pulled that crazy stunt we went straight home.

A little later my mom got me some chick filla and I started to eat it. Then I hear “can I have a piece of chicken” at first I thought it was the tv then a minute later I heard “can I have a French Frie also” and as a look down I see Teddy being a Chatty Cathy just chatting away. Then I thought I was dreaming but it was real life. I let a couple of days go by and it turns out Teddy is really judgemental and annoying. He always judges everything I do and he says “I can do it better”. When it turned Monday I had to go to school and that means I had to leave Teddy home alone for 7 hours and I was thinking “what could

I had to get Teddy to stop talking. I went for a quick jog down the trail where Teddy got the magic red berries that made him talk in the first place. Then I see a pile of blueberries next to them and I thought maybe they could make him stop talking. I grabbed a handful and sprinted them home. I attempted to feed them to Teddy just as plain blue berries but Teddy’s really fat now and he hates “healthy food”. So I made a vanilla milkshake with blue bell vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, milk and of course the blue berries. I poured it into his bowl and see if he drank it. Teddy bolted to his bowl and drank it in .5 seconds! I waited for a couples hours then I tried to ask him a question and there was no response! Hurray teddy has stopped

The recent summer rainstorms have transformed the roadways, of Wrongberight a rural hamlet on the eastern shores of Virginia, into a never-ending slip and slide. Late Saturday afternoon, vivacious Clemmy Sue Jarvis, a petite woman of sixty three, cautiously pulled out of her driveway, and slowly turned south on to Flat Bottom Road. She maneuvered the rain soaked road with great care. Nevertheless, fifty yards from her dearest friend Estelle Louise’s long dirt driveway, her rusty Chevy pickup, that she has kept mobile for years with hairpins, bubble gum, and duct tape, skidded across a massive oil slick. As a result, the pickup spins in wide circles as…

We rushed out of the door as we felt relieved that the horrifying experience was finally over, but it was definitely worth the long, but seemingly short wait into the asylum. I used to love reading. In kinder and first, my nose was stuck in a Magic Tree House book. Third, fourth, and fifth grade I basically lived at Hogwarts (in my rightfully sorted house, of course, I am a proud Hufflepuff). And in middle school, I discovered THE tween series of my generation, Maximum Ride. Reading was exciting, and even though I had done it for years every time I picked up a book it felt so novel. I was your ordinary bookworm until seventh grade when the joint power of Ms. Green’s teaching and James Patterson’s writing broke my will to read.…

It’s midnight and as I expected, a black Ford F-150 Truck with tinted windows pulls up to my house. I walk outside holding a backpack with my portable speakers and a baseball bat. However, I quickly change my mind and leave the baseball bat inside the house. I hop into the back seat of the truck and am greeted by four large burly kids. “What’s up Matt?” says Ben who is sitting in the drivers seat. With music blasting, Ben takes off the parking brake and presses his foot down onto the gas pedal. Soon we are heading down dark winding roads as we listen to music from Captain Murphy, which contributes to our mischievous mood. Finally we arrive.…

There’s no other place in the world where I feel the most at home than being at Long Beach Island. There you can smell the fresh, salty air of the ocean as the warm breeze brushes across your face. It is a place where the sand, sometimes chilled by the water or boiling hot up in the sand dunes, fiddles its way through your toes one by one sending chills down your spine with every step. Off in the distance you can hear the chiming of bells as the ice cream men call children of all ages to cool themselves off with a frozen treat. This is the place that all summer long, I am lucky to call home.…

I checked into a hotel called Bellagio, I was staying there until I could find a house. I checked into my room went to look at it, then I went back down to the lobby. I was looking for a place to eat, then all the sudden there was a purple polar bear that walked in. I followed it up to its room, but I was acting like I was going to my room. But it worked out well because his room was right across from mine. I was looking out that little hole in the door to see when he left. He took the elevator and I took the stairs so I would get there faster. We were both looking at the poster to see what was around us. Then we started talking and he asked for my name, I said, “my name is Leroy, what is yours”. He said “my name is Howie” Then we both agreed to go do something in town…

OBSERVATIONS: It was 8:30 in the morning when my nephew was put on the high chair. Every morning, Aaron's mom makes him his favorite breakfast food, Cheerios and milk. This day was different than any other day because while watching his mom open a new box of Cheerios, Aaron starts to bounce up and down and tells her, "Me! Me! Me!" His mom ignored him and continued to pour Cheerios in his bowl. When she turned around and was about to get the milk in the refrigerator, I saw Aaron trying to push his bowl off of the table. I tried to do something about it, but it already hit the floor. Juvy, Aaron's mom, grabbed a broom and swept it across the floor. Couple of minutes later, Juvy grabbed the box of cereal and just before she poured it in the bowl, Aaron, again, starts to bounce up and down and tells her, "Me! Me! Me!" Juvy finally realized what he was trying to tell her; he wanted to pour the cereal in his bowl. Juvy, at first, was hesitant to give Aaron the box because he might make a bigger mess, but she tried to help him pour it, but he kept pushing her hands away so she asked him, "Do you want to pour the cereal in your bowl or do you want me to do it?" Aaron said, "Aaron." Aaron poured the cereal carefully in his bowl and started eating them. After he put it in his mouth, he began clapping like the food tasted better.…
