Teens Should Not Text And Drive
Son, I always cared for you and still want to continue to care for you, even now. Since your coming up to getting your driver's license, I wanted to let you know to never text and drive. I still want to be there for you in the car, and telling you not to text and drive is the best thing I can do. Hundreds to thousands of teenagers die from texting and driving yearly, and I would not want you to be one of the thousand teenagers. Even though it might seem silly, but it's serious that teens shouldn’t text and drive because it's dangerous, costly, and has affect on others.

Teens should not text and drive. First of all, texting and driving is very dangerous. For example, the Teenbiz article “Keeping Teens Safe on The Road “ states, “The simple fact is that teenage drivers are more easily distracted. They are young, inexperienced, and have a slower reaction time.” This quote shows that Teens especially dont have the skill level to be texting and driving in the first place. Even though the responsible driver that doesnt text and drive isn't in danger, but the deaths of teenage drivers from texting are rising dramatically. This could affect a responsible driver since driving on the road with a driver that text and drives.
