FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
GRADE: 4

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direct supervision, responsible for providing members with service on a variety of transactions. Welcomes members to the credit union and provides general information concerning credit union products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Represents the Credit Union to the members in a friendly, positive and professional manner, and provides prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate service in the processing of transactions over the counter, by phone, and by mail.

2. Handles all monetary transactions for members (e.g., deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, miscellaneous receipts) and other normal inquiries by members. Check approval authority up to $250.00.

3. Cross-sells all services offered by the Credit Union. Responds to members' requests, problems and complaints, and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.

4. Answers members' questions regarding their accounts (e.g. errors in posting of deposits, withdrawals, etc.)

5. Opens and closes member accounts under Credit Union guidelines.

6. Accurately reconciles cash drawer daily.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs miscellaneous duties, e.g., filing signature cards, payroll cards, typing and updates to member data base.

2. Performs monthly/weekly reconciliation on money orders, travelers’ checks, bonds, and cash advance.

3. Processes TYME card activity, payroll and direct deposit activity, and share draft orders and reorders.

4. Assists in the training of new employees as necessary.
