SUMMARY:
The issue here is that Michael is faced with an ethical dilemma regarding whether or not to participate in politics in order to capture a higher position within another sector of his organization. He is aware that his opponent Danielle has entered workplace politics at full speed, and is using every opportunity to gain leverage against Michael.
Michael's opponent demonstrates legitimate political strategy and should be considered a threat to his desired position .Her political strategy has proven to be a formidable opponent for Michael, and has forced him to consider participating in office politics.
Although Michael has refused to enter in to office politics, he still wants the power and the responsibility of Lafleur's president of U.S. Michael is a hard working individual who truly wants to accelerate his career based on his ability to work, and not his ability to strategize politically.
