Texas Road House Reflection
cThese all started out in Pueblo, Colorado at a place called Texas Roadhouse in the early springs in March, so you might be thinking why are you there well it was a day where i got to choose where i want to eat for my birthday, and it was Texas Roadhouse because it is my all time favorite restaurant.

I was so happy and the food that was made was making me hungry and I going grumpy because it was full and they took so long, until the food arrived, I have tried the steak, chicken, bread, mid boneless chicken wings, fries, my brother order a cheeseburger, and so did my sister and they were huge but hey ordered a small. With all this food will makes you full, I will rate this restaurant a ten out of ten.

I loved everything since the first time

LongHorn Steakhouse was first founded in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia by George McKerrow, Jr. His vision of the restaurant was to provide the most perfect steak, but nobody seem to have taken notice of his restaurant until about 1982 when he thought the restaurant was about to not make it . There was ice and storm that hit the south that took a no name steakhouse to what everyone knows today as LongHorn Steakhouse. LongHorn is now part of Darden Restaurants, which is why they have been able to become such a popular name. Since 1982, LongHorn has over 435 locations in the East, Midwest, and Southwest United States, and in Puerto Rico , and the company is still growing strong.…

My overall impression of the restaurant was actually very good. I thought the food was excellent, with huge plates of it. The waiter was nice, and it was funny how sometimes she made me have to respond in Spanish. The atmosphere was happy, with great tropical-like decorations covering the restaurant. It wasn’t crowded or noisy, with the…

Concourse Dental is a small private dental office where both the dentist and the dental hygienist work closely with the patient to practice preventive dentistry through patient education. I observed how if the patient is diagnosed with a oral health disorder, the dentist and dental hygienist would talk with the patient after receiving treatment. This opportunity taught me that one on one counseling with the patient can change the patient's lifestyle that contributed to the oral health disorder. Ultimately, this dental office imparted me the importance of delivering dental education to…

Today I went to my Alcoholics Anonymous class, and needless to say, I did not know what to expect. I went to the Step program at Memphis Memorial, and the entire group was very accepting of having nursing students attend. The class began with one lady reading from their big book, and then the group recited the serenity prayer and the 12 steps. Once this was completed, the nursing students in attendance introduced ourselves and stated our reason for being there. The leader of the group asked to members if they had anything to discuss, and since nobody offered any discussion topics, he brought up the topic of “Are you doing everything you can to get the most out of the program?” This became a very emotional topic to the members.…

Last week in class we read the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. The book showed what's it’s like to overcome adversity at anytime even when times are bad Jeannette Walls overcame her father's alcoholism and her mother's psychoness. The family was also going through a financial crisis so with the weight of everything on her she had to get over so much for her to be able to succeed in her later life. Jeanette was a very strong and determined person and she didn’t allow herself to use the homelessness or her father’s alcohol problems but more as opportunities. She felt as if the hardships were making her who she was and it allowed her to become such a strong and humble person. I have had much adversity but this was the hardest for me. A couple…

The goal I wanted to reach under this standard was to act in best interest of service user, promote respect and social justice, supporting the service users but also by allowing them to make their own choices and promoting and advocating the views and wishes of service users. Acting in the best interest of the service user is the basis of the work the Housing First team meeting clients needs to the best of their ability. It is within the client’s rights to expect care workers to work under legislation and policies such as the CORU codes of profession conduct and ethics, Health and Social care professionals Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 2001. Upon my opening days at Housing First, I read through the policies file and gained an understanding of different guidelines legislations before meeting clients. One of the main policies in which I followed during my time at placement was confidentiality.…

Over the course of the past month, I have encountered many new experiences and skills. I have noticed that my responsibilities have increased tremendously. I not only am just an intern at the Superdome, but I am intern who is the Assistant Office Manager. With that being said, my responsibilities from last month have grown. I am continuing to create flyers for the Superdome to market their programs, but I am now brainstorming new program ideas and creating flyers to market those. I have been in contact with outside parties to help market their camps and events that will be held at the Superdome as well. For instance, there is a Football camp that will be held at the end of August from PST NYC Football. I am in contact with the head director of the clinic, Kahmal Roy, in order to get more information, build a marketing plan, and create flyers to be handed out and displayed. I have improved my creative skills as well as increased my knowledge in marketing for different events. I have learned what works, what doesn’t work, and…

After stuffing myself with chips our food finally arrived. It was just about the yummiest thing I've ever had. The red sauce for the enchiladas was a little bit different than what I've had here, but I can't tell you how. It was more delicious over there though. There was chicken inside the enchiladas and a touch of sour cream on top. We took the extra salsa we hadn’t demolished with the chips and smothered our enchiladas with it. I ate every last bite of it and was so full…
