Dr. Pettit cares about his subject a lot. Sabrina mentions his seriousness multiple times, trying to make it seem like a horrible thing. Besides that, the only other thing Sabrina mentions about Dr. Pettit is his affair with one of his students, Caitlin. “To be honest, I can't see why you're letting Caitlin do a multimedia project and ***not*** me. It wouldn't have anything to do with the amount of time I've noticed her spending in your office, would it?” (p. 138, line 22-24)
As a narrator, Sabrina is manipulative and condescending. She cannot take “no” for an answer, which shows childlike and spoiled behavior. Sabrina has absolutely no respect of her teacher, as she is blackmailing him, “Otherwise I’ll have to create a competitor for that very successful social networking site dissyourprofessors.com and use it to talk about the way you and Caitlin swap so many charged looks in class.:-)” (p. 138, line 28-30) calling him fat and constantly talking about how boring she finds him.
